Welcome to the 10th Edition of Imagine This Women’s International Film Festival!

New worlds. New stories. Same fearless mission.

We’re thrilled to celebrate a decade of bold storytelling, visionary creators, and transformative cinema at the 10th annual Imagine This Women’s International Film Festival (ITWIFF).

Since our first screening, ITWIFF has been dedicated to amplifying the voices of independent women, non-binary, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ filmmakers—and this milestone year is no exception.

Join us September 11–14, 2025, in the heart of New York City for a powerful celebration featuring inspiring films, dynamic panels, immersive storytelling, and meaningful connection. Whether you’re a filmmaker, a film lover, or an advocate for change in media, this is your festival.

Here’s to 10 years—and the stories still to come.

Imagine This Emerging Voices Mentorship Program

Celebrating ITWIFF and Cutter Connections’ 10th anniversaries, the Emerging Voices Mentorship Program empowers three festival winners in Best Narrative Short, Best Documentary Short, and Best Emerging Filmmaker.

Over 3–4 months, mentees receive one-on-one guidance from industry mentors, gain professional insights, expand their networks, and may even work on a Cutter Entertainment production.

Meet this year’s mentors: Rozz Therrien, Cecilia Butler, and Shannon Lorraine — helping the next generation of women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ filmmakers take bold steps in their careers.

Meet the Mentors

Rozz Therrien – NY-based film, TV, and commercial producer. Co-founder of Blossom Street Films, Rozz has consulted for Academy Award–nominated and BAFTA-winning producers and is currently in post-production on Hidden Hills.

Cecilia Butler – Documentary and branded content producer. Cecilia’s work includes You Need This (CPH:DOX 2025) and campaigns for GitHub, Cash App, Hulu, and Amazon.

Shannon Lorraine – Editor, animator, and producer with 15+ years of experience, having collaborated with Google, The New York Times, Verizon, and A&E.

“The films here–which include shorts and features, documentaries and fiction films–are as diverse as the women who made them. Subjects range from the experience of transgender teenagers to a young woman’s quarter-life crisis to the effects of PTSD on veterans’ families. ”
